Denmead Scout Group hosts a number of fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds and support other local charities.
This year we are increasing our fundraising efforts to help us build our new Scout HQ.
Please come and support us at our events this year which are:-

Sunday 15th November – Xmas Craft Market & clothes swap
Sunday 29th November – Christmas Craft Workshop

Sunday 6th September 2026 - Dinosaur Derby
Time: 1:30pm to 5 pm
Location: Scout HQ, Kidmore Lane
Cost: £3 per family
The Scout Group’s main fundraising event of the year is set to return.

Sunday 20th September - Fun Dog Show
Time: 11 am to 4 pm
Location: Denmead Community Centre
Cost: £3 per class (cash only)
We are holding our Fun Dog Show on Sunday 20th September at the Denmead Community Centre
Entries on the day – up to max of 35 per class.
Get those tails wagging and start practising your best tricks because our Dog Show Classes are back! 
We’ve got 11 fun categories for your four-legged friends to enter, including:
Cutest Puppy Most Handsome Boy Prettiest Girl Golden Oldie Best Rescue Best Child Handler Scruffiest Dog Best Fancy Dress Best Trick Best Head Tilt Waggest Tail Best in Show!

Saturday 17th October - Table Top sale

Cost: £10 per table
We are holding a table top sale on Saturday 17th October from 1pm to 4 pm at the Denmead Scout HQ.
Refreshments.

Sunday 15th November - Christmas Craft Market and Clothing Swap
Time: 1pm to 4 pm
Location: Scout HQ Kidmore Lane
Cost: £5 (Includes afternoon tea)
Swap clothes you don’t want anymore for new ones in our clothes swap and buy some Xmas gifts,
Then join us for afternoon tea with homemade cakes
How it works:
Bring good condition clothes, shoes and accessories.
For each item you bring you will receive a token to exchange for another item.

Sunday 29th November - Christmas Craft Workshop
Time: 10 am to 4 pm
Location: Scout HQ Kidmore Lane
Cost: £50 (including Home Cooked 2 course lunch and refreshment.)
Treat yourself to a relaxing day of craft
Make a natural wreath and table decoration, then try different crafts to make fabulous decorations to take home,
All craft supplies are provided.
