Denmead Scout Group hosts a number of fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds and support other local charities.
This year we are increasing our fundraising efforts to help us build our new Scout HQ.

Sunday 28th April - Board Games Cafe
Time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Location: Denmead Scout HQ
Cost: £3 per gamer
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Lots of board games for you to try.
Refreshments will be available: tea, Coffee, soft drinks, cake & biscuits. Light lunches

Saturday 19th May - Golf tournament
Join the Group Chair for a day on the golf course.
18 holes of golf with a hot drink and bacon buttie on arrival.
Scoring will follow the Stapleford system with prizes for the overall winner, longest drive and nearest the pin.

Sunday 10th November - Remembrance Parade
Time: 10:15
Location: Meet at Denmead Memorial Hall
The Scout Group will lead the village’s Remembrance Parade.
Young people from all sections and other groups including the Parish Council, Denmead Junior School and GirlGuiding will parade from the Memorial Hall to the Village Green for a service of Remembrance led by All Saints Church and the Royal British Legion

Sunday 1st December - Christmas Craft Day

Friday 20th December- Carols in the Car Park
Time: TBA
Location: Car Park of All Saints Church
Join us for some Carol Singing in church car park, accompanied by Denmead Brass Band, bring the family along to get all Christmassy!
This is an outdoor event so remember to wear a coat and please bring your own Lantern.

Sunday 22nd December - Santa Round the Village
Time: TBC
Location: Denmead Village
Santa will be touring the village asking children what they would like for Christmas.
Denmead Scouts will once again be driving Santa round in his sleigh.
A map will be posted nearer the date for stopping points and times.
We will be collecting donations along the way for TBC Charity.
