Denmead Scout Group hosts a number of fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds and support other local charities.
This year we are increasing our fundraising efforts to help us build our new Scout HQ.
Please come and support us at our events this year which are:-

Sunday 15th November – Xmas Craft Market & clothes swap
Sunday 29th November – Christmas Craft Workshop

Sunday 20th December – Santa Round the Village

Sunday 5th September 2027 - Dinosaur Derby
Time: 1:30pm to 5 pm
Location: Scout HQ, Kidmore Lane
Cost: £TBA per family

Saturday 17th October - Table Top sale
Time: 1pm to 4 pm
Location: Denmead Scout HQ
Cost: £10 per table
We are holding a table top sale on Saturday 17th October from 1pm to 4 pm at the Denmead Scout HQ.
Refreshments.

Sunday 8th November- Remembrance Parade
Time: 10:15
Location: Denmead Memorial Hall
Hello,
This years Remembrance parade and memorial service will be held on Sunday 8th November.
Young people are to be dropped off at the Memorial Hall, Hambledon Road, Denmead at 10.15am.
There will not be any parking at the hall and Hambledon Road will be closed from 10am in preparation for the parade.
Please walk to the hall. Parents/carers are to leave their young person with a leader and leave the assembly area. Parents can line the route and parade behind the children or head straight to the village green.
The young people are to wear full smart uniform. If it is cold or wet coats should be worn.
The group will parade to the village green where they will stay in their groups and participate in the memorial service.
At the end of the service the young people should be collected from their leader. Do not take your child without informing a leader first. The service should finish at approximately 11.20am
Sunday 15th November - Christmas Craft Market and Clothing Swap
Time: 1pm to 4 pm
Location: Scout HQ Kidmore Lane
Cost: £5 (Includes afternoon tea)
Swap clothes you don’t want anymore for new ones in our clothes swap and buy some Xmas gifts,
Then join us for afternoon tea with homemade cakes
How it works:
Bring good condition clothes, shoes and accessories.
For each item you bring you will receive a token to exchange for another item.

Sunday 29th November - Christmas Craft Workshop
Time: 10 am to 4 pm
Location: Scout HQ Kidmore Lane
Cost: £50 (including Home Cooked 2 course lunch and refreshment.)
Treat yourself to a relaxing day of craft
Make a natural wreath and table decoration, then try different crafts to make fabulous decorations to take home,
All craft supplies are provided.

Saturday 19th December - Outdoor Carols
Time: 6 pm
Location: All Saints Church Car park
Join us for some Carol Singing in church car park, accompanied by Denmead Brass Band, bring the family along to get all Christmassy!
This is an outdoor event so remember to wear a coat and please bring your own Lantern.

Sunday 20th December - Santa Round the Village
Time: TBA
Location: Around the village
Santa will be touring the village asking children what they would like for Christmas.
Santa will be starting from the Fox and Hounds Pub at 4.30pm. route and times to be announced nearer the time.
We will be collecting donations along the way for the Langstone Sailability Trust.

Other Fundraising Events
Denmead Scouts support a number of other events across Hampshire where the mini rollercoaster is booked as one of the attractions.
So far this year we have been booked to attend:
