Welcome to 1st Denmead Scout Group

Scouting has been part of Denmead life since 1937 and today 1st Denmead Scout Group runs one of the largest groups in Hampshire with over 120 young people attending weekly meetings, activities and camps throughout the year. Over the past year our young people and leaders have been busy… from camping to a Marwell Zoo day trip to investing new young people and leaders alike.

All information about our group, sections and how to contact us can be accessed via the tabs along the top of this page. If your young person is interested in joining us, please either complete the contact us form or email [email protected]

Our Group and all its activities are run by volunteers, all of who end up making a huge difference to young people’s lives. We are always looking for new volunteers and whether you want to work with young people directly or help behind the scenes, there’s something for everyone at Scouts. If you are new to Scouting or returning, you will discover how worthwhile and rewarding it can be. Please contact us for an informal discussion so see how you could make a difference.

Also see our website designers and hosts at MQM Interactive – they have donated their services to make this website a reality.
