Denmead Scout Group hosts a number of fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds and support other local charities.
This year we are increasing our fundraising efforts to help us build our new Scout HQ.
Please come and support us at our events this year which are:-

Sunday 24th November – Board Games Cafe
Sunday 1st December – Christmas Wreath and Craft Workshop
Friday 20th December – Outdoor Carols
Sunday 22nd December – Santa Round the Village

Saturday 15th March – Bingo Game Night
Saturday 26th April – Camel Racing
Sunday 29th June – Fun Dog Show

Last Sunday of the month - Board Games Café
Time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Location: Denmead Scout HQ
Cost: £3 per gamer
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Lots of board games for you to try.
We will be holding this event on last Sunday of the month which are:-
29th September, 27th October and 24th November.
Refreshments will be available: tea, Coffee, soft drinks, cake & biscuits. Light lunches

Friday 22nd November - Xmas Swishing Party

Location: Scout HQ
Cost: £5
Free glass of bubbly on arrival.
How it works: Bring along your good condition clothes, shoes and accessories.
For each item you bring, you can choose another item of clothing.
Swap your way to a new wardrobe!!

Friday 20th December - Outdoor Carols
Time: 6 pm
Location: Car Park of All Saints Church
Join us for some Carol Singing in church car park, accompanied by Denmead Brass Band, bring the family along to get all Christmassy!
This is an outdoor event so remember to wear a coat and please bring your own Lantern.

Sunday 22nd December - Santa Round the Village
Time: TBC
Location: Denmead Village
Santa will be touring the village asking children what they would like for Christmas.
Denmead Scouts will once again be driving Santa round in his sleigh.
A map will be posted nearer the date for stopping points and times.
We will be collecting donations along the way for TBC Charity.
