Join us at one our our upcoming events to support the group
Denmead Scout Group hosts a number of fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds and support other local charities.
This year we are increasing our fundraising efforts to help us build our new Scout HQ.
Please come and support us at our events this year which are:-

Sunday 9th November - Remembrance Parade
Time: 10:15
Location: Denmead Memorial Hall
Hello,
This years Remembrance parade and memorial service will be held on Sunday 9th November.
Young people are to be dropped off at the Memorial Hall, Hambledon Road, Denmead at 10.15am.
There will not be any parking at the hall and Hambledon Road will be closed from 10am in preparation for the parade.
Please walk to the hall. Parents/carers are to leave their young person with a leader and leave the assembly area. Parents can line the route and parade behind the children or head straight to the village green.
The young people are to wear full smart uniform. If it is cold or wet coats should be worn.
The group will parade to the village green where they will stay in their groups and participate in the memorial service.
At the end of the service the young people should be collected from their leader. Do not take your child without informing a leader first. The service should finish at approximately 11.20am.
On the day we will have a cash collection for the Royal British Legion should you wish to contribute. Refreshments will be available in the church hall and quiet reflection, prayer in church after the memorial service should you wish to attend as a family.
If you have volunteered to be a Marshall on the day please come to the Memorial Hall at 10am. If you have a hi-vis jacket please bring it with you. We will have some on site.

Sunday 30th November - Christmas Craft Workshop
Time: 10:00 am to 4:00pm
Location: Denmead Scout HQ
Cost: £50 (Includes a 2 course home cooked lunch)
Pre-booking essential.

Saturday 20th December - Outdoor Carols
Time: 6 pm
Location: All Saints Church Car Park
Join us for some Carol Singing in church car park, accompanied by Denmead Brass Band, bring the family along to get all Christmassy!
This is an outdoor event so remember to wear a coat and please bring your own Lantern.

Sunday 21st December - Santa Round the Village
Time: To be announced
Location: Denmead Village Centre
Santa will be touring the village asking children what they would like for Christmas.
Denmead Scouts will once again be driving Santa round in his sleigh.
A map will be posted nearer the date for stopping points and times.
We will be collecting donations along the way for TBC Charity.
