Jamboree Contingents Join Dr Who!

As you may be aware, 11 of our Scouts in Waterlooville are attending the World Scout Jamboree in Japan next year. 4 of them are from Denmead Scout Group. This is obviously an expensive trip and they have been busy fundraising to help with the cost.

So far they have raised between them over £12,000

They recently ran the Tardis Open the Box stall at the Denmead Dinosaur Derby and helped out with the setting up so will be receiving more money from that. See the newspaper article below.

The next event is a camel racing night on Saturday October 4th at Denmead. Tickets are still available for this unique event.

Look  out for them bag packing at M&S in Waterlooville on 26th September and also in December when they will also have their mobile Santa’s Grotto!
