HQ gets green energy!

We now have electric solar panels installed and working on the roof of the HQ. This project was commissioned and sponsored by our Executive Committee with a generous grant from Denmead Parish Council. We are able to generate up to 4kW/h of green energy. We will gain income from the Government’s Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) for every unit of electricity we generate, we will benefit from a reduction in our electricity bills and will be made an additional payment for electricity generated which we don’t use! The solar array is connected to our wi-fi network and we can monitor it’s performance online. We hope to have this information displayed on the website once our technical nerds have loaded the necessary software.
