Greetings from America from Riki Tiki Tavi

So I’m having a great time in America! I’ve finally got used to the time difference but I’m still trying to get used to the differences in language!

I’ve been riding the horses and helping set up for the past week, getting everything ready for when the children arrive. I’ll be working with the horses for the summer as well as the kids, who are arriving tomorrow.

I’ve been learning new camp songs ready for out first camp fire tomorrow night and am trying to remember them well enough to bring back to Denmead with me! Hopefully the stereotypical Adirondack weather won’t get in the way of a good fire!
