Explorer Scouts are from age 14 to 18 and the Robert Falcon Scott Explorer Unit meets regularly once a week and takes part in a wide variety of scouting activities including major outdoor activities (e.g. climbing mount Snowden), modern technology and preparation for adulthood.
In addition to the traditional Scouting goals there is also strong support in the Group for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme. See this link: http://www.dofe.org/
Meetings are on Tueday evenings at the HQ 19:00 – 21:00 unless otherwise stated in our Programme.
