Explorers go geocaching
Last night the Explorer Scouts went to Creech Woods to do a spot of geocaching. Geocaching is a fun way of exploring outdoors. Caches consist of ‘treasure’ in the form of a hidden, sealed container containing a log-book and ‘swaps’. There is a website where users can register and get instructions on where caches are located and create and hide their own. They can be found all over the world and there are many in and around Denmead alone. We found one cache, placed one of our own and ran out of time to find another. For more info see www.geocaching.com
