Denmead Explorers go bowling

Last Friday, members of Denmead Phoenix Explorer unit were hosted by Denmead Bowling Club at their HQ in King George V playing field. after an introduction on technique and an explanation of the rules we were let loose on two indoor greens. after a bit of practice we were put into teams and played against each other. We had tea and cakes at half time and at the end many of the Explorers expressed an interest in doing it again soon or becoming a junior member. We had a great evening. many thanks to Jamie for organising it.
